This policy explains what personal data we collect when you contact us through the form on this site, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.
Who the controller is
The controller is Tri M d.o.o., Stancija Kaligari 3, 52440 Poreč, Croatia.
Full registered name: TRI M društvo s ograničenom odgovornošću za proizvodnju i trgovinu. Entered in the court register: Commercial Court in Pazin, company register no. (MBS) 040187222, tax no. For any question about how we handle personal data, write to campsabout@tri-m.hr.
What we collect
We collect only what you send us yourself through the enquiry form:
- the contact person's name
- a business email address
- a telephone number, if you enter one
- the campsite name, website and number of accommodation units
- the solutions and map type you are interested in
- whatever you write in the note field
- a file containing an existing map or site plan, if you attach one
Why we process it, and on what basis
We use the data solely to answer your enquiry and prepare an indicative cost estimate for your campsite.
The legal basis is taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), or our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry (Article 6(1)(f)).
We do not use your data for profiling, automated decision-making, or marketing messages without your consent.
Who has access
Only the team preparing your quote has access to it.
We do not sell your data or pass it to third parties for marketing. Our processors are involved in handling it: DigitalOcean, LLC (hosting), our email provider, and - only with your consent - PostHog (website analytics), each under a written processing agreement.
The server is in Frankfurt, Germany, and the email service is contracted with a provider in the European Union, so the data is processed within the European Economic Area. Where a transfer outside the EEA does occur, it takes place on the basis of the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and/or the processor's certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data indefinitely, so that we can pick the conversation back up if you come to us again after a long gap.
You can ask us to delete your data at any time and we will. Where an enquiry led to a contract, the statutory retention periods for business records apply.
Cookies and tracking
Without your consent we set no cookies, store nothing in your browser, and collect nothing about your visit.
With your consent we use PostHog, a website analytics tool, to understand how this site is used so we can improve it. That sets cookies in your browser and records the pages you opened, an approximate location derived from your IP address, and your device and browser type. The data is processed on servers in the European Union.
The legal basis is your consent. You may withdraw it at any time through the “Cookie settings” link in the footer, as easily as you gave it; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it.
Everything else, including the fonts and the maps, is served from our own servers.
Your rights
At any time you have the right to:
- request access to your data and a copy of it
- have inaccurate data corrected
- have your data erased
- request that processing be restricted
- object to processing based on legitimate interest
- request portability of your data
Complaints
If you believe we are not handling your data lawfully, write to us at campsabout@tri-m.hr, or lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority in the country where you live or work.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if the way we handle data changes. The date of the last change is shown at the top of this page.
